On the occasion of the Milan Furniture Fair 2016 and thanks to the original designs preserved at the Polytechnic University of Milan and made available by Archivio Bottoni, Zanotta reconstructed and put into production Fenice, the first modern table with a central leg, designed in 1936, twenty years before the appearance of tables with similar stands in furniture catalogs. The frame is made of Polimex, covered with acrylic cement with a protective coating resistant to titanium dioxide, in shades of gray.
