Lev Granovsky, a businessman, geologist by education, became seriously interested in photography just a few years ago. At first, he wanted to capture what he saw on trips and show photos to his friends and colleagues. But the result: "one frame — one image" did not always suit him, since it did not convey a complete picture of either natural phenomena or personal impressions. Modern digital technologies came to the rescue. Lev Borisovich began to shoot with a digital camera and form a single photo image from several dozen pictures.
A scrupulous approach to the production of works and an innate sense of beauty in a short time made Lev Granovsky a popular author, exhibiting his large—scale photographs in museums and galleries (the project "Our Home is the Earth"). And the experience gained while shooting landscapes turned out to be in demand for industrial facilities (the Lava and Steel and Prirazlomnaya projects), sometimes on a scale not inferior to mountains, from the natural beauty of which the author came to the beauty of human creation.
