In the late seventies, Zanotta began to develop a new line of research aimed at identifying and extracting from the past objects of anonymous origin, "already noticed", but subject to revision and presented in a modern way. So, in 1978, Zanotta asked Marco Zanuso to redo a "familiar" open folding chair - his model was found in a used furniture store. Zanuso has made some changes that improve the functional characteristics of the chair and the comfort of the seat. As for the latter, Zanuso proposed a solution with an increased degree of comfort, covering the strips originally made of metal with a noble and precious material such as cowhide. The folding chair consists of a frame made of steel, painted in black or white. The nylon seat and back are covered with cowhide.
