Mussi is a brand with an incredibly long and rich history.
It all started in Brianza, an area with a long-standing craft tradition that has become the heart of the Italian furniture world. Here in 1901 Gerunzio Mussi opened a carpentry workshop for the production of furniture for the kitchen and chests for the bedroom. Mussi furniture was highly appreciated in 1924 at the Milan Exhibition of Industry and Labor, where the creator received an award for labor merits from the hands of King Victor Emmanuel III.
In the 1960s, the priority of Mussi became the production of upholstered furniture, and in the 1980s the brand entered the world market, having acquired an exquisite, recognizable style.
From the moment of its creation to the present day, Mussi follows the great Italian production tradition, creating all works by hand. Today, the Mussi factory looks to the future with confidence, creating stunningly beautiful and functional objects from high-quality materials and being in constant implementation of new ideas and experiments.
The Mussi brand is deeply committed to the rational use of resources. The company was one of the first to use polyurethane and water-based adhesives. Mussi aims to produce durable goods to avoid waste that damages the planet.
