BRAND HISTORY
CATTELAN ITALIA was founded in 1979 by Giorgio and Silvia Cattelan. Since then, the brand has released many original pieces of furniture in tandem with famous Italian designers such as De Longhi, Nanni, Studio Cà Nova, Gruppo grafite.
A distinctive feature of the company is that all pieces of furniture are made in Italy from premium materials: natural wood, high quality leather, Italian glass and crystal. We can say that Cattelan Italia is a real modern Italy, expressed in interior items.
THE RANGE OF FURNITURE
Among the design works are sculptural dining tables, chairs combining elegance and comfort, desks, bookcases and much more. Under the leadership of Paolo, the son of the founders, the company also began to offer modern lighting, mirrors and accessories.
Although the Cattelan Italia brand produces almost all pieces of furniture, tables remain the hallmark of the brand. In 2015, Cattelan Italy developed a unique technology for covering countertops: in many furniture models they are made of porcelain stoneware imitating marble with an original texture.
Cattelan Italia tables are easy enough to recognize in the interior: just pay attention to the base or legs. If they strike with an unusual combination of laconic geometric shapes, then it is most likely a model from the Cattelan Italia collection.
The iconic Tyron Wood dining table model will take center stage in the modern dining room. The refined silhouette is distinguished by a crossed leg and a tabletop surface with neatly rounded corners and shiny metal inserts at the edges. Premium materials and concise design make it relevant beyond time.
Today, CATTELAN ITALIA products are proudly displayed in more than 2,500 specialized salons in 104 countries around the world.
